The "Instrunctions" do say that you can use a SIP device but the news says you can't:

What is the real srory?
i installed and made payment to lowratevoip, and they didn't give me any free days for talk. again i made new payment, and nothing. tried to contact them, sent them mail with complaints, and nothing. no any answer and they didn't correct this?!!
does anybody know what can be done about this?
to open new account and again to happen like this, i already have enough money on first acount?!

Unfortunately no VOIP provider i know is providing free services to africa. you may try globe7 which supports ad based free calls.
Cannot create a new account...
Everytime I try, the "connection times out".
Once I was prompted that UN already exits . Then I try a new UN and I again get "conncetion timed out".
Anyone in a similar situation?

when i want to get some information about free calls for pakistan then i just search your blog and i get my answer.
i just want to ask you .i use normally lowrate voip beucase its offering too good rate for pakistan.but i stopped using it becuase voice quality was too bad.
now i have still some money in it .can someone download lowratevoip software in pakistan or open an account in pakistan and call me in germany for free from my own account?or his own account?

Yes. you can give your account and password to your friends/Family and they can use your remaining balance.
Tpad has some issues lately with their break-in numbers. I guess for islamabad they have multiple numbers so maybe you can try some other numbers.

I just want to say that low rate voip is the worst software ever, I charged it, it has my money and now there is a problem in it, I cannot call anywhere with it, and my money is also stuck, I called and mailed the betamax office in Germany, they do not respond, I mailed so many times, so if anyone can give me any help or advise it would be very useful, or other wise stop using betamax products otherwise you will lose ur money, they are cheaters !!!

I use lowratevoip and i'm very satisfied, I call a lot in Romania, it's working great and it's free!!! But I installed this on a SIP device, Nokia N80i, it's working great, bat the calls I made with my Nokia N80 are not more free! Any call is 0.03$ more that a pc call... :(

I had used lowratevoip for 5 days after topping up my account.it worked fine in the beginning.but when i updated my software (lowratevoip),i cannot log on to the software user interface after downloading updated version.there is an error 'connection failure,check your internet connection/firewall.i have checked my firewalls and found its not prohibiting lowratevoip,also i am using fast internet dsl.can anyone suggest me a solution.
