Reliance India Call Review and Promotion Coupons

(For full text with comments please click on the title)

Who doesn't know about Reliance India Call? It's one of the fastest growing Calling service for Indians abroad. Today, we closely do Reliance India Call Review.

For newbies, Reliance India Call is a service operated by Reliance Communications Limited. Reliance India Call recently changed their brand name to Reliance Global Call and they operate in over 8 countries (USA,Canada,UK,Australia,NZ,Singapore,Hong Kong & Malaysia).

We tested Reliance India Call this week to see how good is the voice quality compared to some of the other cheap international calls to India Providers such as MediaRingTalk , LocalPhone etc. I must say Voice Quality is excellent as good as your landline phone, however when it comes to cost Reliance India Call is definately not the cheapest call service for India.

The normal calling rate for India on Reliance India Call is 7.9 cents/min which is extremely high compared to other VOIP Providers. However, they are currently running a promotion during Diwali season which lets you make calls at 5.1 cents/min. WAIT, don't fall for this yet. We did a bit more investigation and found that 5.1 cents per mins only applied for recharge or new accounts and secondly, its only available if you call a Reliance phone line in India. Whoa, Reliance India Call is basically ripping you off when they say Reliance to Reliance is 5.1 cents lol, they route via their own private SIP network which cost them nothing. They could have easily lower this down to 1-2 cents per minute.

Let me share a insider story that most of you guys wouldn't know. I met up with CEO of one of the large VOIP provider, he told me that they buy minutes from Reliance at 1.50 cents per minute (wholesale rate). Now you know what happens behind the scene and who charges you want. These E1 rates never go mainstrem, I know everyone wants to make profit but Reliance India Call can always offer at around 2 cents per minute using their own reliance international calling network.

Reliance India Call also has promotion Coupons and Codes which come up once in a while. If anyone has information regarding Reliance India Call Promotion Coupons please share with everyone.

Overall, we feel Reliance India Call is probably not worth your money unless they start offering calls to India at 2 cents per minute or close to that.

If you are a existing Reliance India Call user do let us know your feedback.

hey guys,i have gr8 news for reliance users.i learnt that they slashed their effective calling rates this Diwali to about 5.9 cents/min from U.S and are also giving away 120 mins free talktime to all their customers. This works out to abt 4 cents/min effectively.how good is that!

i was using reliance for around 2-3 years, then stopped them about a year back, bcoz their rates are pretty high and there are lots of cheaper options with nice quality at present.

I made the switch to DialSimple recently and got $50 worth of minutes when i purchased a $100 credit. This made my effectve rate for India as 3.3 cents which is much lower than what i used to pay for reliance. They are also giving free 15 minutes when you use coupon code SJC888 on signup. The voice quality is as good as reliance. Moreover, I am impressed with their DirectDial mechanism which makes it a one-touch dialing for me. Way to go!!!

Hey guys, did you check out Reliance iCall ,the latest VoIP service from Reliance? All I had to do was to register on their website http://www.relianceicall.com/ and then I started calling friends living as far apart as US and Africa. To my surprise, the voice quality was amazing and we guys had a virtual blast. I heard that this service is available free upto the 15th of Jan so I better start hooking up fast with long lost friends!

As everyone here agrees, Relianceindiacall isn't the cheapest or best for that matter. I signed up with them about 3 yrs back, but wasn't using it much. However, this has changed as I have to call India more often so decided to give them a chance. The voice quality is better than some of the phone cards I used in the past, but the customer service is ZERO. No one ever calls you back or replies to e-mails. As much as I hate to admit it, I felt the same frustration as those outside India call for tech support. It took at least 5 e-mails just for them to understand the problem I was facing while making calls using their service !! Unreal. I suggest you shop around I know I am.

I have been using reliance call for more than 3 years. Of late, the quality of calls are getting very bad to worst. Sometimes lot of disturbances and can not hear the talk. Did any one else face such probem?

Hi my dear friend I have been a reliance user for a long time. but last week i moved to Youtring.Com and they offer me a good deal.

try uniontelecard.com CHEAPEST (2.8C/MIN) and convenient as reliance.
Also other option for bigtime users unlimitedindiacalling.com - you get unlimitd calling to india for $40 every month and you can choose up to 15 destination numbers but limitation is that you can call from only one number

Has anybody tried Reliance Global Call? I have friends asking me to go for it since the voice quality is very good and call drops are also very low. They seem to be offering the lowest call rates to India from the U.S at around 3.5 cents/min, with an addon of upto 2300 mins free talktime as part of their Holi and Eid package.i have made up my mind, unless you guys can suggest something better
