This post is a part of VOIP Provider of the year 2008 Award Series. You can vote for your most favorite free international call Provider in 2008. Vote and Choose the best Free international call provider in 2008.

After a lot of analysis, I have finally chose the following VOIP Provider for free international call provider in 2008 category.

1) EarthCaller: One of the best free international calls service to USA. Works from anywhere in the world as long as you have IE7.
2) Mediaringtalk: Offers free international calls to over 8 countries since last 1 year, consistantly extending free calls offer. Good voice quality however sometimes calls are dropped.
3) Poketalk: Another free international calls provider but received many negative reviews on VOIP Guide, still made it to the finals.
4) Betamax: This includes all betamax VOIP Services such as nonoh, voipraider, voipcheap etc.
5)RingPlus: Our great find has gone beyond expectations and provided a good platform to make worldwide free international calls through their gateway.
7)Tuitalk: Another free international call service.
8)DukaDial: Part of the Jaduka Labs service. Offers Phone to Phone free calls in USA.

You are free to chose another provider of your choice under Others if one of the above provider is not your favorite. Please let me know if you believe a VOIP Provider deserves to be on the list but missed out.

If you are a VOIP Provider and would like to be included for the poll, Please send me email with explanation on why you think you should be included in the free international call provider of the year award.

By the way, Ringplus offer only 20 calls per day (other blogger has asked them) and they dramatically cut the call length since their beginning.

Betamax is a PAID service and they gained many complaints over time. their give free calls of 4-5 minutes to low-cost destinations, after that they ask for credit card

Tuitalk offers only 10 minutes per day or so and requires a program download (this is so 2004 thing). I don't think they should be included among top 10
Meditringtalk requires a program download as well.8 countries are free but many times there are problems with connection

I think taht the best from the list is jaduka services

Dukadial is best so far for free calling in USA and canada, Betamax might have votes but its not actually free in their most sites. you have to have credit to make free calls. Dukadial[Jaduka] is very good website & they keep improve their services even its free.

Earthcaller does not work even though I have IE 7. It keeps showing "Earthcaller is connecting the call" in the pop-up status window, but the call never gets connected. I am from Singapore and have tried repeatedly calling US and Canada with Earthcaller without any success.

If you havent noticed we at PokeTalk have made many improvments to our service over the past 3 months. We have added more countries which you may call from for free, as well as an invite system to double call times to 20 minutes per call. We are also working on solutions for calling India, and many of the other popular more expensive destinations. We hope you all continue to enjoy,

I'm using www.freebuzzer.com lately. Supports around 40 countries and you can make a couple of short international calls through the website.

Any reason why talkster is not in your short list? I use this service and think it's pretty good.

Hey so im a US college student with intentions of joining the peace corps, grandparents that live abroad, and a Dad who works and travels around the world. In my search to find a free VoIP server i chose TuiTalk, and this is why...

Earthcaller may offer free calls from "any place on the planet", but only to North American destinations.

DukaDial similarly only offers calls to North America.

RingPlus only works from the US.

Betamax is not a completely free service.

MediaRingTalk only offers free calls to 8 international destinations.

Poketalk offers free calls to a variety of international destinations, but only when made from 13 specified countries.

TuiTalk is the only service that enables me to make free calls from anywhere in the world to 38 international destinations (including cell phones across North America) without ever requesting credit info.

TuiTalk is not just "another free international call service" and i don't understand why anonymous said it shouldnt be included in the "top 10". in fact, based objectively on the breadth of the service offered, i consider it the best of all 8 addressed here.

Hope that helps. Decide for urself tho, like im glad i did, check em all out and u'll c wat im sayin.
