Reliance Globalcom has entered the VOIP space with Reliance iCall. Beware all Free VOIP Providers, Reliance can give you a run for your money. They are now offering totally free international VOIP Calls to multiple locations.
Reliance Globalcom is one of the biggest carriers in the world and now they have launched Reliance iCall. With acquisiton of Flag telecom a few years back, the industry analyst believe over 85% of international call traffic is crossing through reliance network. Thats huge and massive for any telecom company. As we all know because being a leader in telecom, reliance can offer their partner rates as close to 1 cent to India. They are currently offering calls to india at 4.49 cents.
The big news is they are offering free international calls as a part of their launch promotion. You can make totally free international VOIP Calls to the following countries: USA,UK,Canada,Germany,China,France,Australia,Singapore,Japan,Brazil. This includes landling and mobile as well. WOW, UK mobile for FREE? Thats just too good to be true.
The bad news is the free calls are only available till 15th January 2008, so make the most of it before this free voip calls offer is over.
RelianceiCall works via their softphone, which you can download. We still do not know SIP settings for Reliance iCall. They are not published anywhere and a ping to sip.relianceicall.com doesnt not give any response.
We strongly suggest you give them a try. Never miss a Free VOIP service and especially from Reliance :-). If you are using Reliance India Call, then Reliance icall can be good alternative.

Hello dear i download software but not working when i open software it says that aplication faid to stat because aplition confrigration is incorrect .i am from africa .can anyone able to use this ?
Hey, that sounded great initially. After I downloaded the application and installed it, it just wouldn't open. It says re-installing the application may solve the problem. But it doesn't seem to. I've tried it a couple of times. If someone does manage to get it work please let me know what you did differently.

Please note there are 2 different softphones, one for windows XP and one for Vista. So choose the won thats suitable with your OS. If it still doesnt work then there could be some other issue.

when i called from china on UK number it says The call is blocked.
the sip software works but i am not getting a conformation email from them for the new account...i have waited for almost 20min now..i am not getting the confirmation email..does any one know why??
I tried Reliance iCall and found the voice clarity amazing even as i talked to five of my friends living as far apart as US, India and UK . I even called my mom and my aunts living in different parts of India and found the experience just as great. I heard that the service is available free upto the 15th of Jan so I will be calling till that time, but if the initial experience is anything to go by, iCall rocks big time!
I folowed the installation instructions exactly as written but it still doesn't work!

You can make free calls to india. Procedure:
1. Use Reliance Icall to call +61 424 215 152 and than press 1.
2. Dial 001191XXXXXXXX

doesn't work for me. made test calls to usa, singapore and australia. none got through, only the message the call is blocked.

i downloaded the softphone in oman its not logging me as well as it says only pc to pc call allowed then i tried to download stating india its same thing not logging in

Please note that for some countries reliance icall does not allow PC to PSTN dialing. Always register using United States or Canada as your address :-)

In ME it is not even logging in, I created 2 accounts 1 with US address and 1 with Indian address no use.
I thought they are checking the IP to identify the location you are calling. I tried through a vpn soft by assigning a US VPN IP. I was able to login, yet I had not tried to make a call when i'm writing these comments.
Hope people in ME could give a try
they said call to germany mobile or landline is free but in software
