If you thought betamax hasn't launched a new VOIP Provider this month, they finally did. Voipblast is the new betamax VOIP Service offering free international calls and cheap international calls around the world.
VoipBlast.com is the new VOIP service by Dellmont Sarl, a betamax group company. As you might have already noticed, Betamax has gone underground with their operations and only launching new VOIP services under the Dellmont Sarl brand name to get away with all the bad publicity with betamax brand.
Voip Blast offers free international calls in over 40 countries worldwide and offers really cheap international calls in other countries including India. It offers 0.007 eurocents to call India which works out to around 0.098 US cents (close to 1 US cents per minute). This gives consumers another VOIP service as competitor to jumblo or actionvoip (both owned by betamax).
However, its extremely important to note that All VoipBlast calls are subject to a 0.039 EURO connection fee. That really make the deal worst. Connection fees are charged for every call not per minute basis.
VoipBlast Free international calls service is also subject to Fair usage policy(FUP) which states that registered users get max 300 minutes per week of free calls, measured over the last 7 days and per unique IP address.
VoipBlast also offers full support for SIP.

G.729 (8 kbps)
G.723 (5.3 & 6.3 kbps)
GSMFR (13.2 kbps)
Alternatively, you can use VoipBlast through their voipblast softphone or local access numbers or Web Call or Phone to Phone or via SMS.
VoipBlast also offers a VOIP-Incoming telephone number for only 1 EURO. You can also become voipblast reseller in your country.
Honestly, VOIP Blast could be a good voip service if we ignore the connection fee, but can we ignore 0.039 cents? I guess not. Do let us know your feedback/comments on VoipBlast.

vinay it is important to note that voip blast gives some variable rates for India, it is giving 0.7 euro cent for landline and 0.10 euro cents for mobile, which is just opposite in Jumblo, as jumblo gives 0.7 euro cents for mobile and 0.10 euro cents for landline.So be careful while choosing,
I am using jumblo from last 20 days, and its working fine for me, Before this i was using nymgo but they alwayz had issue with their connection atleast once in a month,so i planned to try jumblo, and its really working good till today,

I am new to europe and to voip.i have read your revies and i have decided the best deal for me would jumblo,as far is cost is considered.i tried gizmocall but can't make any free calls there.i don't have a credit card.so going for regular bank transfer.so have i decided right or is there a better deal
im from middleeast.i used intervoip, smart, action, jumblo all are very good sound quality. but voipblast make me disappointed. i can hear clearly,but the other end, they cant hear me.really fed up.so now im doing it pgone to phone, even it cost 10times more than a normal call..

skype had increased rates neither it had good rate as previous betamax is a new hero in voip market i wish it will beat skype sooon.....

3.9 cents are not chargeable if you maake call from their access gateway phone number.

JUMBLO has just increased calling rate to india from 0.7eurocent to 0.9eurocent per minute.
thats bad. rates should be going down not up and moreover they have started charging 0.60EUROCENTS service charge on every recharge.. so
for EURO 10.60 at 0.009 you get 1177 minutes
EURO 10.60 is US$15.65(thats what my paypal statement said)
so the rate comes to 15.65/1177 = 1.33cents/min
not a good deal anymore.. but still its the cheapest provider with local access numbers without monthly commitments or gimmicks like others.. for example 1.3 offered by indiaminutes and indiald are soo complex

there is a correction in the above calculation.
i have divided the whole 10.60 euros by .009 = 1177
thats not correct because the 0.60 are not usable. its a service charge..
So now the CORRECTION:
10.00 divided by .009 = 1111 minutes
USD$15.65(Eu10.60) divided by 1111 = 1.41 UScents per min

Only after four days being a new user and having made 12 calls, they started charging the free calls because of their Fair Use Policy.
Seven of the calls were to free numbers, and their duration was 1-2 minutes.
They are not clean.
