Reliance iCall VOIP Service is a Joke

Share

Reliance communications is one of the largest telecommunication firm in India and the world. The name "Reliance" is enough for you to trust reliance icall. However, Users are mad at Reliance icall. Lets see why.

I have seen bunch of people almost everyday posting their bad experience with reliance icall VOIP service. Lets look at most of the common issues.

1) Call disconnection and call drop: Calls gets randomly disconnected or dropped at a few seconds or minutes.
2) Grey rate call quality when you can get ISD premium quality at same price with other VOIP networks
3) Zero Customer service. Once you deposit money in Reliance icall, consider that as donation.

I have seen users cribbing about Reliance icall for well over a year but did they improve their service? No, as if they just do care about the end users. I remember testing their dialer on Windows vista, it was freaking out because it was only tested on XP. Don't even try it on Windows 7.

In short, Reliance icall is not worth your money or time. Spend your money elsewhere. If you have any positive/negative feedback, post here and let everyone know.

reliance icall is terrible!! if you are lucky, your call will be connected, luckier yet if you can get voice across to communicate and extremely lucky if it doesn't drop after few minutes.Try clicking on the box by Compalints in the "feedback" of their website. Never have they replied to the numerous "comments" sent to them. It is the worst service ever.

Reliance icall service is terrible. If you are lucky your call may get connected; luckier yet if voice gets across for communication; and extremely lucky if the call doesn't drop after few minutes. The "hang" icon has never worked; the minute keeps going even after it says "hang up"!!!Hmmm, maybe that's how Reliance has made money; by skimming people off their pennies... The only way to end the call is by closing the window. The "feedback" on their website has never fed anything back to me about the comments I've made. In short, give your money to a charity; why make rich any richer??

I was using reliance icall from past 1 month. The voice quality is fine but calls drops randomly. Also some times it doesn't login saying not able to connect to remote server. But recently I'm facing a weird problem in which the other person is able to hear my voice but I'm not able to hear their voice. And the bastards have no customer care number so all I can do is to leave a feedback or mail to their customer care email id but got no response from them. One day the tech support guy called at odd 2:30 AM in night and asks whether we can discuss the problem now... WTF!! Now my money is stuck and I'm able to make calls and those f****** A**H**** are neither responding nor returning my back.
So I would advice to just refrain from reliance icall!!!!

This is a worst service I have ever used. 80% of time call doesn't connect. Never work with windows vista. Whenever I open application to call one msg pop up saying "do you want to download new version of client?" and after clicking on yes, nothing is there. It is so frustating.
And Customer Service is so bad they don't reply sooner than 2 weeks after launching complaints.
I will not recommend this product to anyone not even to my enemies.

I have just bought this reliance service. No doubt the voice quality from here (Kuwait) to India is outstanding. I have tried over a dozen VOIP providers but none match to the exceptionally clear and low latency sound relianceicall offers.

And did I mention the throwaway price of 1.25 cents as compared to 2.0 cents offered by most VOIP providers ?

I have tested it myself on Windows XP and Windows 7 and it works without a flaw.

However I am a linux user and they don't support linux but I can live with a virtual machine.

The only problem is they don't offer SIP settings so I cant call through my Windows Mobile.

I would say, its the Best (in terms of sound quality and price).
