Indian users are often deprived of good things of VOIP. With some VOIP Providers not offering their apps for users in India, freephoo is looking to break into this hungry market.
Freephoo, a swedish mobile VOIP operator its mobile VoIP app to users in India. You can download freephoo on your iPhone,iPod touch, iPad or android phones.
The freephoo application will enable users to make free calls from their phones using the the WiFi or 3G network. However, you can only make calls to other freephoo users for free.

Freephoo still uses your caller id and number while dialing calls out to other freephoo users. The only challenge for Indian users could be to find a really good fast 3G connection or Wifi connection. However, 3G can give you a good enough speed to use freephoo in India.
If you wish to call anyone who isn't a freephoo users, you will have to shell out some money. They do not great calling rates for international calls so be aware of that. In my opinion, freephoo to freephoo calls is the highlight of their apps, just ignore the call rates.

My phone is Samsung S2 and I am from Malaysia. I installed this apps on my phone and later found that it cannot let me make calls. Every time I called, the line discontinued and drop. Never successful. Regret have to uninstall it.
I have started using this amazing app sice a coupl eof weeks. I am kind of on it all the while. Thats mainly coz i love the superior feel. its so simple, hassle free and yet so classy.
